Also during that year, but with much less public fanfare, Galorath Incorporated launched its SEER-SEM (Software Estimation Model) and found early adapters in the United States Air Force, the National Security Agency, GTE, and Lockheed. But while Commodore, MS-DOS and Lotus have all either declined or disappeared, SEER-SEM (now called SEER for Software) has, not only remained robust with thousands of additional users, but over 20 years has retained each one of its original customers.
