Financial Literacy Scholarships From Early Finance Education Institute AgahanView
To recognize Financial Literacy Quarter, the new early finance education online center AgahanView is offering special scholarships to all parents motivated to teach their children about money and smart investment.
(PRWEB) May 26, 2008 –- To help parents get a leg up on their families’ financial literacy, new early finance education institution AgahanView is offering several years worth of special scholarships to families wanting to learn more about money and wealth.
In recognition of Financial Literacy Quarter (April through June), AgahanView is accepting scholarship applications, which will provide free membership into their online educational institution. The school’s early finance education curriculum is designed for students K-12, with supporting programs and services for both children and adults.
Officially, April is National Financial Literacy Month, but AgahanView believes that the importance of financial education is much bigger than just 30 days a year. That’s why the online school has designated the second quarter (April through June) as Financial Literacy Quarter.
In addition to an early finance syllabus, AgahanView’s site offers TEEN.NEY.CIOUS, an exciting and interactive social networking site for children grades 5 through 12. TEEN.NEY.CIOUS is the educational counterpart to Myspace and Facebook and allows students to meet and make new friends while participating in activities, games and contests that stress financial literacy.
Parents can also get in on the action. Supporting programs and literature help parents re-acquaint themselves with the basics of sound financial practice and provide numerous ways for families to boost their financial understanding together.
About AgahanView:
Agahan means EARLY (in the Philipine language). AgahanView strongly believes in the strong financial advantage that early financial training brings to kids. As a financial literacy school, AgahanView seeks to educate early children on the importance of smart financial habits and responsibility with money. AgahanViews gives families practical ways to fulfill short-term financial goals like surviving the current economic “crisis” and how to responsibly spend a tax rebate check, and the long term goal of fostering monetary responsibility among children.
With the help of AgahanView’s early financial education programs, families can shape the financial futures of their children that will reap generational benefits. Children develop healthy financial skills and habits and business acumen, and grow into a money smart, financially savvy and responsible generation of young earners.
Creating and sustaining long-term wealth begins with education. AgahanView gives parents and children the know-how to sensibly and safely spend money. It takes time to build healthy habits, especially financial habits and skills. We need everyone’s help and cooperation. It takes knowledge, skills, commitment, perseverance and most importantly, passion to ingrain in our children the financial values, habits and skills so that they may grow into young productive earners, responsible spenders, prudent investors and great stewards of wealth.
