Schutt Reconditioning, of Easton, PA and a division of Schutt Sports, Inc. has entered into a landmark marketing and distribution agreement with Bethlehem Sporting Goods of Bethlehem, PA. Schutt Reconditioning is one of the world's premier reconditioners of athletic equipment, while Bethlehem Sporting Goods is one of the regions most widely known and successful sporting goods dealers.

The new partnership will leverage assets of both Schutt Reconditioning and Bethlehem Sporting Goods, enhancing product lines and services for both companies.

"With this new partnership, we'll be able to offer our existing customers many of the great products that Bethlehem has always offered their customers, like uniforms and other apparel," says Craig Scott, of Schutt Reconditioning.

For their part, Bethlehem Sporting Goods will now be able to enhance the product lines and services they offer to their customers, as well.

"We're excited to be part of the first true partnering relationship between manufacturer and dealer in the industry," says George Kline, Jr. of Bethlehem Sporting Goods. "Many manufacturers talk about "partner," but with this new program with Schutt, we are bringing that concept into reality."

The efforts of both companies will produce a new selling and distribution system, with more robust product offerings and a higher level of service to customers. Bethlehem has long been a Team Dealer for Schutt Sports, Inc., but this new partnership is a move designed to solidify the strategy of Schutt Reconditioning to bring products and services to market.
