The newest Gaylord Hotel property, the largest combined hotel and convention center on the East Coast, has equipped its entire maintenance staff with the Mobile-Shop tool and parts organization system.

The 2,000 room Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center on the Potomac, which opened in April, will provide its guests with the best of everything, including the best maintenance system available to keep the facility in prime condition. Gaylord has equipped all of its 23 professional maintenance engineers with the Mobile-Shop® System to ensure maximum productivity, accountability and customer satisfaction in the maintenance area.

“Guest satisfaction is Gaylord’s first priority,” said Edward “Jerry” Guirlinger, president of the Mobile-Shop Company. “The professional appearance of the Mobile-Shop system, along with the fact that it allows engineers to get more work done in a shorter amount of time, lends itself to that objective.”

“This magnificent new hotel is the perfect showcase for the Mobile-Shop,” Guirlinger added. “Gaylord has hired the best maintenance engineers available and equipped them with the Mobile-Shop system from day one. As we trained them on using the system to its maximum efficiency, you could see their enthusiasm for the system and their appreciation for the investment that Gaylord has made in them. That pride and sense of professionalism is one of the main benefits of our product.”

Guirlinger said Mobile-Shop Company., which also services the multifamily, facilities and government markets, is seeing growth in demand for its products in the hospitality industry. The Mobile-Shop’s unique numbering and labeling system allows for unprecedented inventory control, while the easy portability of the system cuts down on wasteful trips back and forth for forgotten items. And with operating costs increasing industry wide, gaining new efficiencies is more important than ever.
