Pharos Systems announces the launch of a new version of the Pharos Integrated Multifunction Printer (iMFP) solution for Hewlett-Packard.

In line with HP's Print 2.0 strategy, the new software release demonstrates Pharos Systems' continuing commitment to the MFP as a key driver of productivity improvements and cost reduction. With version 2.2, the Pharos iMFP solution for HP now has the capability to:

This brings the number of HP MFPs supported by Pharos Systems to eleven, including four LaserJet MFPs (M3035, M4345, M5025, M5035), the Color LaserJet CM4730 MFP, and the CM8050/CM8060 Color MFPs with Edgeline Technology.

| | - Enable users to continue copying and tracking pages in the event of a network failure or power outage.

| | - Provide additional safeguards against abuse. Users with insufficient funds to make a copy are not permitted to log on to the printer. They are informed of their current balance and of the minimum balance required to log on.

| | - Offer an enhanced Demo Mode, which enables a stand-alone demonstration of the system's operating capabilities.
