The OW2 Community Showcases Open Source Middleware at JavaOne 2008

Impressive line-up of the OW2 Community, at JavaOne 2008 in San Francisco, with a program of some 20 demonstrations based on12 innovative open source middleware projects for enterprise information systems.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 6, 2008 -- The OW2 Community is exhibiting for the first time at JavaOne 2008 and has put together an impressive line-up of some 20 demonstrations based on 12 open source middleware projects from its code base. All the projects on show at JavaOne are designed for enterprise information systems and benefit from professional support provided by independent companies.

On the OW2 booth, visitors will be able to appreciate OW2 middleware in action through demonstrations by community members. The programme includes demonstrations on 12 projects: JOnAS application server, EasyBeans Enterprise Java Beans 3 (EJB) container, Bonita workflow, Orchestra BPM, SpagoBI Business Intelligence, Spagic SOA/BPM Enterprise Integration, Spago4Q for software quality, Orbeon Form Builder, Xwiki for collaboration and applications, PEtALS Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), eXo WebOS for user interaction, FederID and electronic signature, ProActive Parallel Suite for parallel computing.

OW2 Members supporting the demonstrations at the OW2 booth at JavaOne include Bull, EBM Websourcing, Engineering Ingegneria Informatica, eXo Platform, INRIA, Linagora, Orbeon and Xwiki. These members also provide professional support to the projects in the form of training, technical expertise, systems integration, etc.
