paybox scales mobile Payment business with service oriented architecture and development platform for partners

To enable its partners and to scale its business, paybox is releasing the fourth generation of its Mobiliser Platform providing a state-of-the-art Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) as well as a Service Development Platform (SDP) for the rapid integration and development of mobile Commerce, mobile Money and mobile Payment relevant solutions.

Frankfurt, Germany (PRWEB) May 6, 2008 -- paybox, the trendsetting company for mobile payment enterprise solutions headquartered in Germany, announces the release of the fourth generation of its Mobiliser Platform providing a state-of-the-art Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) as well as a Service Development Platform (SDP) for true dynamic real-time integration and rapid application development of mobile Commerce, mobile Money and mobile Payment relevant solutions to further scale its business.

Customers like mobile operators, financial institutions or system integration partners can now dynamically build mobile services in a fraction of the time with conventional methods.

For Celcom in Malaysia, our local partner just set up a USSD-based mobile Banking solution himself using the paybox SDP
Based on paybox long-term experience in mobile payments, the paybox Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) provides mobile Commerce, mobile TopUp, mobile Money and mobile Payment relevant web services (Mobiliser Web Services) based on a robust and proven components architecture. The paybox SOA publishes the Mobiliser Web Services using an open XML- standard-based interface that describes their actions.

"With the Mobiliser Web Services, customers and 3rd parties can integrate the paybox services to create their own distributed mobile Commerce solutions. A customer in Turkey just creates a mobile parking solution this way," states Markus Hueck, Head of Product Development paybox. "Customers can and even add their own customisation plug-ins, for example to store a license plate for a parking application, or to create a connector to a prepaid topup system".

Leveraging the paybox Service Development Platform (SDP), system integrators can even provide the opportunity to develop SMS, USSD and WAP-based solutions with zero-programming. To build applications, they can integrate the Mobiliser Web Services, internal services for campaign, promotion, subscription and content management services or any 3rd party service such as a charging gateway. These services can include P2P transfers, airtime top-Ups, bill payments, movie ticket purchases, content downloads, donations as well as enhanced games (e.g. multi-step quizzes with subscriber rankings, auctions or SMS Contests). Hueck adds: "For Celcom in Malaysia, our local partner just set up a USSD-based mobile Banking solution himself using the paybox SDP".

Connecting the specific knowledge from the mobile Payment business with state-of-the art software development methodologies, paybox offers a tailored SOA and SDP for customers who want to build mobile businesses.

paybox will be present at the CeBIT Australia from 20th to 22nd May and at the CommunicAsia in Singapore from 17th to 20th June 2008.
