Redesigned web page delivers news quicker and engages in two-way dialogue with journalists, social media and general public.

Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU) announced today the launch of its newly redesigned newsroom located at http://www.news.prudential.com. Web visitors will benefit from a personalized online experience with the newsroom's innovative multimedia approach and information from across the company.

Prudential's online newsroom is designed to be user-friendly for journalists, social media and the general public seeking a connection with and information about the company. The website provides journalists with direct access to the company's media contacts and news releases available for viewing by both date and topic.

Providing an enhanced experience, the site also enables visitors to log-in and save news releases, photos and other content in their own online "briefcase." In addition, registered users can elect to be automatically contacted through email about company events, subscribe to RSS (real simple syndication) feeds and download podcasts on a variety of current issues.

Visitors will also have the chance to learn more about Prudential's hot topics with featured articles that employ hypertexts and links to facts and photos. Members of the media can also check in weekly to gather new story leads on the top retirement issues facing Americans.
