Class sizes are big in Utah and teachers need assistance in enhancing the monitoring of children. With the Amber Alert GPS tracking unit, teachers can attach the units to students with a tendency to stray from the group or to special needs students as an added safety measure. A student who strays from the group can press the SOS Alert of the device, which then immediately sends the teacher with a text of the child's exact location. Another option is that when a teacher notices that the child wearing the Amber Alert GPS is missing from the group, the teacher can call the device and a text message will be sent with the child's exact location.

Amber Alert GPS aims to create partnerships with schools nationwide in an effort to give added safety to students in schools and to create awareness. Parent, guardians, and teachers have the opportunity to be informed of how the Amber Alert GPS unit can help protect and save children's lives. The makers of Amber Alert GPS will be providing on site training to Daybreak and Jordan Ridge faculty members on how to use the device. Partner schools outside of Utah will receive online training via an easy to follow PowerPoint Training Presentation from the Amber Alert GPS website at http://www.AmberAlertGPS.com.

The partnership with Daybreak Elementary and Jordan Ridge Elementary is just the beginning of a nationwide effort to introduce Amber Alert GPS to schools and parents. Two additional schools in Utah are in the process of forming a partnership with Amber Alert GPS. The makers of Amber Alert GPS believe in the importance to help reduce the incident of missing children and child abductions. Protecting children can be a partnership between parents and the school system to help give parents and the community peace of mind.

Amber Alert GPS will introduce the device to parents of partnered schools through school newsletters, Parent/Teacher conferences, PTA meetings, and various other school activities. Parents with children in partnered schools are given a $50.00 savings on the purchase of the unit. Amber Alert GPS will also donate $50.00 to the school for every unit purchased. Saving parents money and helping raise funds for schools is a positive move that Amber Alert GPS wants to initiate nationwide through the Amber Alert GPS Child School Safety Partnership Program.

The Amber Alert GPS is an innovative tracking unit that works in three easy steps. The lightweight pager-sized unit is placed in the child's person (belt loop, pocket, or backpack). Parents can call the unit anytime they want to know the exact location of their child. The text information can be viewed from any cell phone (with Internet connection) or via computer. Up to five (5) individuals can be designated to receive the information. These three easy steps will help teachers, parents, and guardians provided added safety to children.

The Child Safety School Partnership Program is an important initiative by Amber Alert GPS as a way of giving back to communities and to help parents and the community know that it is possible to provide children with an added safety measure to help keep them safe. The $50.00 savings available to parents makes the affordable Amber Alert GPS even more affordable. One of the goals of the makers of Amber Alert GPS is to help reduce child abduction throughout the United States and North America. Amber Alert GPS will be contacting schools throughout the U.S. to donate tracking units to their school.

About Amber Alert GPS: Russell Thornton founded Amber Alert GPS when his child was temporarily lost. The panic and terror he experienced motivated him to create a product that would help parents gain peace of mind. He wanted to provide concerned parents with an affordable solution to increase child safety and protection. The answer was the creation of the Amber Alert GPS tracking unit, an affordable and effective tracking device that uses advanced technology to help locate missing or abducted children. Amber Alert GPS was recently reviewed by the national publication, http://www.GPSmagazine.com, and given a resounding 4 out of 5 star rating.

The Amber Alert GPS device has no identifying logo. The makers intentionally did this to make the device non-descript in order to fool predators. Special Accessories to house the device are available separately. Features in the device include Geo-fencing and the SOS Alert designed especially for children. Parents, guardians, and teachers in partnered schools can program Geo-fencing to set geographical boundaries to create a "Safe Zone" for children. Children can be taught to use the SOS Alert to immediately send a warning when they are lost or facing dangerous situations. Another attractive feature is the Speed-alert, which immediately sends a warning when the teen is driving over the speed limit or when the teen is inside a car traveling over the designated speed limit. Up to five selected trusted individuals can receive immediate text notification with the 5 phone tracking system. The Amber Alert GPS tracking device works with all mobile phone providers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint Nextel, AT & T, U. S. Cellular, and various other worldwide, national, and regional mobile phone providers.
