Redwood National Park Hostel Ranked #1 Worldwide by HIHostels.com Users

The Redwood National Park Hostel has been voted one of the two best Hostelling International hostels in the world, according to HIHostels.com user ratings. Three other Northern California hostels were ranked in the Top 14 worldwide.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 8, 2008 -- The Redwood National Park Hostel in Klamath, CA, has been voted one of the two best Hostelling International hostels in the world by users of HIHostels.com. The Redwood Hostel tied with the Shin-Osaka Youth Hostel in Japan for first place worldwide in user ratings, for the period of April 2007 - March 2008. Both hostels received an average satisfaction rating of 93% based on six criteria: friendliness of staff, efficiency of service, level of comfort, cleanliness, security, and location.

Three other hostels in Northern California -- the Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel, Point Montara Lighthouse Hostel, and Sacramento Hostel -- tied for sixth-place worldwide, with a satisfaction rating of 89%.
