Brayton Purcell to Sponsor "Honor Thy Healer" Held by Zero Breast Cancer

Novato, CA (PRWEB) May 7, 2008 -- Brayton Purcell is proud to be a sponsor for the 9th Annual "Honor Thy Healer" awards ceremony, dinner and fundraiser held by Zero Breast Cancer. The celebration honors those special individuals who have played a healing role in the lives of those diagnosed with breast cancer. Honorees at the event include Dr. Mhel Kavanaugh-Lynch, director of the California Breast Cancer Research Program, for her leadership in community breast cancer research. Dr. Bobbie Head, Dr. Marc Hurlbert, Ysabel Duron, and Leanne Greentree join Dr. Kavanaugh-Lynch as honorees of the event. Serving as honorary chair is Cheryl Jennings, news anchor ABC-7 KGO-TV news.
         
The reception will began at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 8 at the Mill Valley Community Center, 180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, California. Dinner and awards will began at 7 p.m. This year's raffle prize is an incredibly beautiful handmade quilt Bay Area quilter, Lori Parrini-Adamus. Ms. Parrini-Adamus has been sewing for most of her life and quilting for the past five years.
