From Living Room to Home Theatre in Less Than 30 Seconds With the New Beamax In-Ceiling Projection Screen Range

Beamax introduces an in-ceiling projection screen that doesn't spoil the design of a living room, yet transforms the room into a home theatre in less than 30 seconds. Available immediately through Beamax resellers, the in-ceiling projection screen is aimed at those who want to make the most of high definition projection and the design of their living room.

Overpelt, Belgium (PRWEB) May 13, 2008 -- With so many High Definition games and movies available, there has never been a better time for a large screen in the living room. Yet, a living room that's dominated by devices does not appeal to many families.

With the Beamax In-ceiling projection screens it's now possible to enjoy high definition home cinema without the drawbacks. An in-ceiling motorised projection screen is installed in the false ceiling and rolls down at the press of a button; turning a living room into a true home theatre in less than 30 seconds.

Available immediately through the Beamax reseller network, the In-ceiling range comes in sizes up to 300 cm (118 inches) wide, is the equivalent of 9 TVs with a 42" diagonal. Prices range from 1182 euro (1773 USD, 806 pounds) to 1692 euro (2538 USD, 1154 pounds) including 21% VAT.

The Beamax In-ceiling series are operated by a tubular motor with thermal protection, shutting the screen off automatically when the motor becomes too hot. This feature protects the motor and increases safety as well as the life of the screen. The motor can be controlled by infrared and radio frequency remotes, as well as a 12V trigger that lowers the projection screen automatically when the projector is switched on.

The In-ceiling series doesn't suffer from distorted images. By using an a-symmetrical aluminium roller tube with a 2-step fabric fixation design, a perfectly flat, undistorted projection area is achieved. This makes the screen perfectly suitable for High Definition projection.

The standard fabric used is the matt-white 1.5 gain projection screen fabric. Other options are a matt-white 1.2 Gain fabric, high contrast, rear projection and micro-perforated fabric.

The ease of installation will make anyone look like a pro. All the brackets are enclosed and have been designed so even a novice can install the screen. When the room demands a specific size, the In-ceiling series can be customised to precisely fit the available space.

The In-ceiling range is available from stock now and technical details can be found on the Beamax website: http://www.beamax.com/projection-screens/In-ceiling-screens
