The Messianic Times, nearing its twenty year anniversary as the only Messianic newspaper serving the Messianic Jewish community, has now launched a new interactive website and e-paper.
"We know that most people, especially young people, get a lot of their news online," notes Times publisher Paul Liberman. "We still have a print paper that we distribute worldwide, but now that same information is available online for those who prefer the newer format.
With new information spanning the globe every minute, the website is looking to offer more up-to-the-minute news bites along with the more thoughtful in-depth writing that the Messianic Times is known for. News and views from Israel is available in many places, but reporting that reflects the perspective of Messianic Jewish Believers in the Land can only be found in the Messianic Times.
Liberman observes, "With the Web comes a lot of information, but more and more, it is important to be able to trust your sources. That's where we believe we have something important to offer the conversation. For example, a recent court ruling concerning the granting of citizenship to certain Messianic Jewish believers has been widely reported. We feel it is our duty--our calling--to present ALL the facts and give readers a truly informed perspective on what the impact of such decisions might be. There's a huge difference between a trusted publication and an urban legend."
For a limited time, new online subscribers can sign up for the e-paper for only $5.99 per year. With sharp, colorful graphics, reading the newspaper online is a pleasurable experience.
"It's the best of the old AND the new," Liberman smiles. "The same international Messianic Jewish perspective we have always offered, along with the instant access that people have come to expect."
