Over 300 Senior Marketing and eCommerce Executives from Financial Services Institutions gathered at Scottsdale, Arizona from April 14-17 to focus on solutions for best practices in marketing and online banking.
The four day NetFinance 2008 kicked off with the Online Acquisition Strategies Best-Practices Forum. Delegates shared best practices on how to improve online experience for customers. One of the speakers, Julian Chu, Director of Internet Acquisition at Discover Financial Services gave an energetic and insightful session on "Mastering The Offline-Online Mix With Data Analytics". In the afternoon, the IMIX: Innovative Marketing Idea XChange provided roundtables focused on six different significant areas that impact marketing strategies and goals.
Main conference days focused on integrating key marketing channels to improve customer conversion, retention and engagement. Eskander Matta, Senior Vice President, Internet Services Group of Wells Fargo gave a practical and well received session on Capturing Customer Loyalty Through Mobile Banking Services. While Rick Starbuck, FVP eCommerce Customer Experience of Washington Mutual spoke about using customer-centric design and techniques to create true innovation in Financial Services.
