Academy of Art University School of Advertising Teams up with Esurance

Academy of Art University's prestigious advertising school is partnering with San Francisco insurance company Esurance for an innovative new educational project and sponsorship deal.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 9, 2008 -- Academy of Art University's prestigious advertising school is partnering with San Francisco insurance company Esurance for an innovative new educational project and sponsorship deal.

Students from three graduate advertising classes will come up with campaigns for Esurance. Using different methods, such as commercials, print advertising, viral marketing and others, students will strategize ways for Esurance to reach target audiences the company has not been able to reach.

The Advertising students will then have the opportunity to pitch their campaigns to Esurance executives at their corporate headquarters. Esurance will award the students scholarships for the best copywriter, best account executive and best art director. One lucky student will be picked for a paid summer internship in Esurance's internal advertising department. The company may even use one or more of the ideas from the Academy's talented students for a national advertising campaign.

Additionally, Esurance is sponsoring the development of a new state-of-the-art conference room at the School of Advertising. The room will be equipped with cutting-edge presentation tools and conference phones to involve online students. Students from the interior design school are assisting in the design of the room to give it a slick and professional ambiance.

The fantastic partnership presents a real world situation to students - one they might find in an ad agency after graduation. The Academy of Art University's advertising school's curriculum is designed to mirror the professional experience as closely as possible. In the past, the students from the School of Advertising have worked with Chipotle, Fuze Beverages and more to create ad campaigns.

The school itself looks, feels, and functions like a fast-paced downtown ad agency. The professional environment of the School includes several conference rooms, instruction areas, and an open gallery area where students meet and work together. The open gallery also allows students to participate in guest lectures and professional presentations. The Academy also provides a small photo studio for shooting ad concepts and several drawing studios are used to refine drawing and sketching skills.

The countless awards and alumni success stories speak for themselves: this is one of the best advertising schools in the country. With this exciting new partnership and sponsorship deal, the Academy of Art University's advertising school will reach new heights in education.
