Bonfire Communications, a San Francisco-based organizational communication agency specializing in employee engagement and strategy implementation, today announced that CEO Gordon Rudow will facilitate a pre-conference workshop at the 22nd National Forum on Internal Branding. The conference, produced by the Advanced Learning Institute, will take place May 12-15, 2008 in Washington, D.C.
The workshop entitled "How to Use a Strategic Process to Develop a Compelling Internal Brand that Engages the Hearts and Minds of Your Stakeholders" will take place on Monday, May 12 and provide participants with the skills required to leverage the collective wisdom of their organizations and increase their chances of achieving buy-in with relevant and on-target messages.
Rudow will share Bonfire's unique audience-centric methodology and collaborative mapping technique that has helped companies design and develop some of the most compelling internal brands in the world. Participants will leave the workshop knowing how to:
- Facilitate an interactive internal brand development process
- Build the business case for internal branding objectives
- Determine messaging, brand story and design criteria when developing communication vehicles
- Develop a sustainable framework for future brands
"This workshop enables cross-functional teams to capture essential information and collective insight from diverse perspectives across an organization to develop brands that truly engage employees and change behavior," said Rudow. "By providing case studies and best practices, we offer an integrated approach to branding that helps companies differentiate from the competition and improve bottom-line business results."
Rudow will serve as the Chairperson for the conference and will kick off each morning with an opening address. Following the address on the first day, Rudow will also co-lead a presentation on best practices for internal branding. This presentation will teach attendees how to create and align internal brands across teams and within a clear brand framework. It will also showcase how a leading Bay Area biotechnology pioneer successfully implemented internal branding practices that have led it to becoming one of the top five "Best Places to Work" for four years running.
The pre-conference workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, VA. Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. for the morning workshop attendees.
