Healthy Spot's unique approach to natural and organic dog products and services will bring a different shopping experience for dog lovers, and set a new standard in the pet industry.

Healthy Spot officially announces Saturday, May 31st as the grand opening date of their flagship retail storefront. The organic, green and modern dog products and services store will be located on 1110 Wilshire Boulevard at the intersection of 11th Street in Santa Monica, CA.

Healthy Spot's flagship store will provide a styling salon and spa along with small dog daycare service for the residents of Santa Monica. Pet parents are now expecting the same level of luxury and quality for their pets as they do for themselves and Healthy Spot provides that opportunity. Healthy Spot's goal is to become the center for community social, informational and educational dog events.

Among the services provided at the location, Healthy Spot will introduce "Puppy Pre-School" in the small dog daycare facility. Dogs are naturally pack oriented, they need to be exposed to other dogs at an early age. Healthy Spot's focus is to socialize puppies in a controlled monitored environment, where unlike dog parks and outdoors, parents can be assured that exposure to disease is limited.

Healthy Spot is extremely active in the dog community and seeks to create awareness of the value in nutrition, adoptions, and charitable events. Healthy Spot has partnered with A Walk for the Underdog, which is a non-profit fund raising organization for 30 animal shelters and rescue societies in the greater Los Angeles area. Together with community supporters, the company maintains a strong commitment to animal-welfare programs.

The Pet Food Recall of 2007 has fueled a growing awareness and demand by pet owners for higher quality products. Since then, there has been a significant increase in the number of brands in the natural, organic, and raw foods and treats available to consumers.
