Over the past decade, Ecom has set out with a new strategic direction to deliver unprecedented primary PPO savings, selection, analysis and streamlined network administration workflow. In particular, this revolutionary focus substantially minimizes health insurance payers' out-of-network claims or "white space," navigates customers to the best-fit primary PPOs and shifts the paradigm for healthcare and its affordability for everyone.

A few of the highlights of the past 10 years were being named to the Dallas Business Journal's Fast Tech 50, which is a list of the fastest growing high technology companies ranked by revenue growth from 1998-2001 in the Dallas Metroplex.

Also, Ecom's CEO and Chairman, L. Cade Havard, was elected to the coveted AAPPO (American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations) Board of Directors.

Another accomplishment for Ecom was the development of the company's wellness program. Ecom's pioneering wellness program was built from the ground up and has tailored its resources and programming to the specific needs of its employee base. The program has had many successes ranging from, being featured on Dallas-based television stations, ABC Channel 8-WFAA and Fox 4-KDFW, to inquiries on how to start corporate wellness programs from some of the nation's largest companies.

More recent accolades include, Ecom expanded to a second facility, sponsored a PPO networking conference, and earned the distinction as a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner.

The milestone that Ecom is most proud of is the billions of dollars it has saved its clients over the past decade.

Cade Havard and his family sold Beanie Babies to supplement their income during the first years of the company's existence. In 1998, the first Beanie Baby sale took place in Monroe, LA in a hotel meeting space and generated more than $16,000 in five hours. Ecom now jokes that they are "the house that Beanie Babies built".
