Corvest Third Expansion Phase Halfway Complete
Adva-Lite Moves Manufacturing and Customer Service Teams to New Corvest Facility
Largo, FL (PRWEB) May 18, 2008 - Adva-Lite, a subsidiary of Corvest and sister company to Toppers and It's All Greek To Me, has completed half of its relocation to Corvest's 300,000-square-foot facility in Largo, Florida. Currently located just a mile down the road from Corvest's new facility, Adva-Lite began its relocation the last week of April and will fully integrate its employees and capital resources within the next two weeks. Corvest's other subsidiaries, Toppers and It's All Greek To Me, relocated to the new facility in December of 2007 and March of 2008, respectively.
Within the last week, Corvest completed the relocation of Adva-Lite's manufacturing resources. The company's customer service team will join Corvest's office personnel on Monday, May 19. Jim Kelley, Vice President of Customer Service for Corvest, said, "With the entire customer service team under the same roof, Corvest will have the ability to provide an even greater level of service to our customers. We will soon begin the process of having all team members cross-trained, which will allow us to share resources and ensure that all customers are helped as quickly as possible." Adva-Lite customers are urged to begin using the company's toll-free number (800-446-1154) for all customer service inquiries. Customers will no longer be able to reach customer service personnel via their current direct extensions.
In addition to combining its customer service resources, Corvest has also merged the three subsidiaries' systems and databases. A streamlined data warehouse has enabled customers to view inventory levels from Corvest's new websites. The sites, launched on March 31, feature a number of additional benefits to promotional products distributors, including the ability to order products online. End-users are also able to place orders with participating promotional products distributors right from the company's new sites. Promotional products distributors must register on the sites for free and verify that they'd like to be included in Corvest's Distributor Finder, which allows end-users to select a distributor by proximity or name.
The move is the third stage of a multi-tiered expansion plan to provide increased capacity and greater inventory space for all of Corvest's subsidiaries. The brand-new, state of the art facility houses additional machines and more team members, allowing Corvest to process large orders even more quickly and efficiently. A high-tech, bar-coded inventory management system improves workflow and overall operating effectiveness. Corvest will hold an open house in the Summer of 2008 where the efficiency of the new facility will be demonstrated to promotional products distributors.
