The Pixel Awards announced its 2008 call for entries today, May 20. The Pixel Awards are the cutting-edge website award, annually honoring compelling sites in 20 unique categories that have shown excellence in web design and development.

"With two years of stellar competitions under our belt, we're more excited than ever to get the 2008 competition underway.
