InsideADHD™ offers interactive education and resources

Newton, MA (PRWEB) May 29, 2008 -- Inflexxion® Inc. today announced the launch of a new interactive website, InsideADHD™ (www.insideADHD.org), designed for people living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). InsideADHD provides information and resources to adults with ADHD and parents of children with ADHD, as well as to the healthcare professionals and clinicians who interact with them.

The newly designed website focuses on all aspects of parenting children with ADHD and adult ADHD including treatment, family life, and succeeding at school and work. It also provides an educational experience that incorporates a wide array of resources and information. Visitors can easily navigate the site, subscribe to a quarterly e-newsletter, take a course about ADHD medication management, and seek information on a wide array of topics pertaining to ADHD. Several valuable resources have been integrated into the site such as a tool that shows how the brain functions with ADHD, an "Ask the Experts" section, and an Adult Self Report Scale - V1.1 (ASRS-V1.1) Screener; a six-item checklist that may help the user recognize symptoms of adult ADHD.

The advisory board for InsideADHD consists of several preeminent experts in the physical and mental health fields as well as distinguished professors at leading universities. The InsideADHD advisory board members include: Dr. Hector R. Bird, Columbia University; Dr. Peter D. Anderson, Taunton State Hospital; Dr. Jonathan Brush, Harvard Medical School; Dr. Peter S. Jensen, REACH Institute (the Resource for Advancing Children's Health); and Mary Robertson, RN, BSN, co-founded Lexington's Bluegrass Chapter of CHADD. This advisory board is responsible for reviewing content for accuracy, language, and relevance, providing feedback on the interests of parents and individuals with ADHD, and answering "Ask the Experts" questions.
