Shawn Luckey, a Buffalo Soldier in the upcoming Spike Lee movie Miracle at St. Anna, writes and stars in his own stage production, A Family's Play presented by Diversity Players of Harlem at Roy Arias Theatre 2, during a limited engagement from June 17 - June 22.

Shawn Luckey recently produced and performed stand up comedy in Diversity Players of Harlem's production of the stage play Die Laughing, starring Kevin Brown (Dot-Com) of NBC's 30 Rock. Some of his other stage credits include: Leland Cunningham in Blues for an Alabama Sky by Pearl Cleage; and Captain Richard Davenport in A Soldier's Play by Charles Fuller. Luckey was also featured in a Rev Run music video, Mind on the Road. Soon, he will appear in Spike Lee's Miracle at St Anna with the likes of Derek Luke, Omar Benson Miller, Michael Ealy, and Laz Alonso which is scheduled for an October 10, 2008 release.

Currently, Shawn Luckey stars as the unstable Travis Delaney in A Family's Play, which depicts a family structure reshaped by the affects of society.
