A reality that is built upon the knowledge that you are not experiencing it alone; that there are hundreds, thousands, millions of other people listening to the same music, dreaming the same dreams, flying the same fantasies.

As the Dave Matthews Band prepares to kick off their summer tour schedule, fans have a literary treat in store as well. "True Reflections", a new book of eight original stories, pays unique tribute to the music of DMB.
"Like so many of you, we have spent the last 15 years listening to the music of the Dave Matthews Band," says Rick Cochrane of Rumpus Media, the publisher of "True Reflections." "By using the inspiration of the music and our own creativity, we feel this book is a unique and entertaining project we are honored to share with DMB fans."
"True Reflections" is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Dave Matthews Band. Instead, it is a unique tribute to the band's music over the last 15 years. Its author, Jay Nabonne, has crafted eight stories, each inspired by the lyrics and music of the Dave Matthews Band.
"The stories in this book are fiction. But the events and emotions are reality all the same, and sometimes that's all that stands between man and madness," says Dave Thompson, author of over 100 books about bands and celebrities. "A reality that is built upon the knowledge that you are not experiencing it alone; that there are hundreds, thousands, millions of other people listening to the same music, dreaming the same dreams, flying the same fantasies."
"The book doesn't make speculations about what certain songs might mean," says a review on Weekly Davespeak, a Dave Matthews Band fan web site. "Instead, it celebrates the creativity DMB songs have evoked in their fans--the stories listeners have imagined by just hearing the lyrics or music."
"True Reflections" is priced at $15. The book can be purchased on the Rumpus Media web site (available online at http://www.rumpusmedia.net) or on Amazon.com.
