NewServers, the leading provider of on-demand dedicated utility servers with hourly billing, today announced the launch of its reseller program featuring API access. Comprised of multiple API features, volume discounts up to 20% and NOC level support access, the NewServers reseller program targets traditional hosting resellers, ISVs, web designers and application developers with higher volume and control needs. The API allows Resellers to fully integrate with NewServers' NOC automation to manage six key functions. These functions include adding a server, canceling a server, real-time available inventory list, active server information, current billing information, and server reboot control.

NewServers solves that problem with our API and NOC automation that extends self serve on-demand provisioning and canceling directly to the reseller. Couple that with NewServers' hourly billing model and resellers can manage their server costs completely in line with the revenue generated from resold servers

"Traditionally, the sales efforts of dedicated server resellers of all types have been inhibited by the long and inconsistent server provisioning and ticket resolution times of their provider," said JP Gagne, president of NewServers. "NewServers solves that problem with our API and NOC automation that extends self serve on-demand provisioning and canceling directly to the reseller. Couple that with NewServers' hourly billing model and resellers can manage their server costs completely in line with the revenue generated from resold servers," said Mr. Gagne.

NewServers' Application Programming Interface (API) is the next step in the evolution of system-to-system interface for remote access and control of NewServers systems and services. Utilizing HTTPS requests and XML replies, the API integrates with custom and third-party software and control panels, providing server management, monitoring, and information retrieval from our systems including our accounting, inventory and server administration systems.

In addition, resellers will have the opportunity to become certified in multiple value added service categories such as managed services and market themselves in various sections of the NewServers website. "Our direct clients are always asking for services that are outside of our core focus. Instead of saying no to a client, we would rather connect them to one of our certified resellers for the service," said Gagne.

All server activations receive free set up and hardware load balancing to facilitate automated scaling and clustering.

Through May 31st 2008, all new resellers receive:
•Reseller discounts starting with their first server order instead of their fifth server order
•Free migration assistance
•1 TB of free premium Internap bandwidth
