The Latest dbx Driverack Model Improves Active Speaker Sound and Simplifies PA Setup with Multiple Signal Processing Features

Direct music gear marketer, Musician's Friend, announces the arrival of the newest innovation from dbx: the Driverack PX Powered Speaker Optimizer. Through June 30, 2008, customers who purchase the dbx Driverack PX from Musician's Friend will receive a $50 mail-in rebate. Customers who purchase the dbx Driverack PX bundled with a choice of two Mackie powered speaker systems will receive a $100 mail-in rebate.

Unlike other DriveRack models, the PX is tailored for management of powered speaker systems enabling a louder, clearer sound. Its automatic adjustment capabilities can compensate for the acoustic deficiencies in any performance venue, making it useful for music artists who don't have their own sound engineer or lack the expertise to set up a PA system effectively. DriveRack PX signal processing features include:

  • Stereo feedback elimination with 12 feedback notch filters
  • Dual 28-band graphic equalizers
  • 120A Subharmonic Synthesizer
  • Classic dbx compressor
  • Stereo PeakStopPlus limiters
  • Stereo multi-band parametric EQ
  • Stereo or mono subwoofer support

Musician's Friend offers two exclusive packages that combine the PX with two different Mackie SRM powered speakers, both eligible for the $100 rebates. They are the Driverack PX and Mackie SRM350 Package and the Driverack PX and Mackie SRM450 Package.

Other dbx Driveracks models, including the Driverack PA and Driverack 260, are also eligible for mail-in rebates worth up to $150 through June 30, 2008. Click the Live Sound tab at for details.
