New Painting From Peter Teekamp Celebrates Clinton-Obama as Dream Team, Shared in a YouTube Message for Peace
"Just a few decades ago, this would have seemed impossible. We've come such a long way! It really inspired me" says Teekamp, who became a U.S. citizen in the mid seventies.

The painting shows Obama and Clinton wrapped in the American flag to symbolize unity. Teekamp paints the pair in black and white, stating, "Shouldn't we be colorblind when we choose a leader?" With Obama supporting Clinton, and Clinton's peace sign just visible in front of Obama, the painting shows a peace offering and much of the world seems to be loving it.
This is a dream ticket, a celebration, according to Peter Teekamp, "This part of history has already been made. The power is now in the people's hands. It's so exciting really. Perhaps It is time for a change. There is truth in the words "Yes, we can" and "War is over, if you vote."
