As students, the most frustrating aspect of gathering information for research projects was the fact that few were sharing the information they have gathered

iBreadCrumbs.com (http://www.ibreadcrumbs.com) announced today that their online research and information gathering tool aimed at teachers, researchers and students has officially launched after months of testing and refinements. iBreadCrumbs.com was founded by two California State University Fullerton (CSUF) graduates, Reuben Fine and Rey Marques, who, as students, became extremely frustrated at the inefficiency and redundancy of gathering research. They created this site to empower students and researchers worldwide to save and share their research with others in a fast, free and easy way.

iBreadCrumbs.com gives students, researchers and teachers a free and easy way to collaborate and share research completed online in a social network environment. Users simply download the free iBreadCrumbs toolbar, search the Internet as usual and click on the webpages visited to share with others. Users can also add notes and references to every page visited and save the web history for colleagues to see the sites and review the content they viewed -- saving time and reducing redundancy in gathering research.

"As students, the most frustrating aspect of gathering information for research projects was the fact that few were sharing the information they have gathered," said Reuben Fine, co-founder of iBreadCrumbs.com. "iBreadCrumbs.com solves this problem by creating a virtual research lab where everyone in the social network can bookmark and share the research they have conducted."

Hundreds of students and professors at California State University Fullerton are already using iBreadCrumbs.com to complete research assignments, write research papers and study for classes and examinations. CSUF's Foundation for the Study of Emerging Markets, for instance, uses iBreadCrumbs.com for all of their student-led research projects.

"iBreadCrumbs.com is a simple, yet powerful, application in the college and research environment," said Rey Marques, co-founder of iBreadCrumbs.com. "In essence, we have created a social network for researchers to share URLs recorded, track websites, review notes online - encouraging collaboration as a key component to learning."
