Veteran author's new release reveals witness for Christ

To understand the apocalyptic future that awaits us, Christians need only look at the rate of skyrocketing catastrophic events that are taking place around the world. In veteran Christian author Bob R. Short's stunning follow-up to his bestselling book of prophetic insight, Wake-Up Call Prophecies, the author again gives an accurate depiction of the soon-coming foretold events, as well as offers people hope and instructs them in methods to achieve it through church unity and disciple nations, rather than the hopeless direction in which the world government is leading them. His new book, The Scroll (paperback, 978-1-60647-047-3), is the only book of its kind in the modern day marketplace, and it will appeal to a large audience worldwide with its broad scope of ideas--which, fortunately, are not just the usual doomsday scenarios.

Says Short, a resident of the Oklahoma City area, "The reader should understand how the end of time is approaching and how unprepared they may be. They can learn how to test themselves and the church, find insight to make a mid-course correction, and ultimately pass the test on judgment day. (My book) plainly instructs the reader (and tells) which nations make up present day beasts in Daniel 7:4-7 and the two beasts in Revelation 13. It unfolds how each beast could affect them personally."

The author says he was inspired to pen his second book after the spirit of prophecy, given to him by Jesus Christ, filled him. "(My) assignment is to carry this message to the political leaders as well as churches and Christians around the world," he says. "I am a witness to the world concerning our Lord and Savior's Second Coming."

Xulon Press, a part of Salem Communications Corporation, is the world's largest Christian publisher, with more than 5,000 titles published to date. Retailers may order The Scroll through Ingram Book Company and/or Spring Arbor Book Distributors.
