He joined Xerox in 1986 and, during a career with the company that has spanned 21 years, has held various other sales, marketing, and management positions.
Office Printing Highlights
The office printing segment of the conference includes three presentations. Ann Priede, vice president of Lyra's publications group, will begin this segment with a presentation titled "Redefining the Office Printing Environment: Pages and Hardware." She will discuss worldwide printer and copier trends; printers versus copiers versus MFPs; A3 versus A4; and color in the office. Larry Jamieson will reveal results of recent primary market research covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, sharing insight from new printer, MFP, and copier market research data and analysis that compares user behavior at small and medium-size enterprises in Eastern Europe versus Western Europe. Wouter Koelewijn, CEO of X-Solutions, will finish the office printing segment with his presentation, "Maintaining Control of Document Workflow."
Wide-Format and Graphic Arts Highlights
Josep Tarradas, large-format commercial RSP lab manager for the Large Format Division at HP, will start off the wide-format portion of the agenda. His presentation will focus on "Tackling Environmental Issues with New Printing Technologies." The second presentation in this segment is from Andrew Stewart, director of sales and marketing at Ilford Imaging Switzerland. Stewart's presentation will cover "Maximizing Profit from Wide-Format Printing." Charles LeCompte, president of Lyra Research, will answer the question "Did Ink Jet Emerge at Drupa?" His presentation will feature Lyra's insight on announcements and strategies revealed at this recent event.
