It reflects the unyielding commitment to quality, performance and focus on customers, that sets Brek Manufacturing apart in the industry.
Brek Manufacturing, a member of Taurus Aerospace Group, has supported Northrop Grumman for more than 25 years providing machined components for its F-18E/F, E-2D, and F-35 programs.

"We are very proud to be presented with this award and appreciate the excellent relationship we have built with Northrop Grumman over the past quarter century," said Jon Stannard, president and CEO for Brek Manufacturing.

Northrop Grumman developed its Supplier of the Year Award program to recognize the critical role that its suppliers play in the delivery of high-performance products that the company produces for U.S. and international customers. In its fourth year the award program is an outgrowth of the company's strategic sourcing initiative, an effort started in summer 2003 to build stronger long-term relationships between the company and its suppliers. To be considered for a Supplier of the Year award, a company must demonstrate consistently superior performance in delivering products and services to Northrop Grumman.

Gary Ervin, president of Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems sector, credits suppliers for not only exceeding performance expectations, but also for their value-added contributions. "Our suppliers play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our sector's vision, which is to be the most trusted provider of systems and technologies that ensure the security and freedom of our nation and its allies. By fostering innovation, collaboration and trust in our suppliers, they have become essential team members who now share our commitment to customer satisfaction and to delivering superior program performance."

Brek Manufacturing was acquired by Taurus Aerospace Group earlier this year. "It is an honor to have one the Taurus Aerospace companies recognized by international leader Northrop Grumman," said Matt Yerbic, chief commercial officer for Taurus Aerospace Group. "It reflects the unyielding commitment to quality, performance and focus on customers, that sets Brek Manufacturing apart in the industry."
