Boys' Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships Set for July 2-9 At South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah

Salt Lake City-based Connor Sport Court International will provide 32 courts for the week-long games.

Sandy, Utah (PRWEB) June 8, 2008 -- Utah will be host to the 29th Annual Junior Olympic Boys Volleyball Championships July 2-9 at the South Towne Expo Center, and every game will be played on courts provided by Connor Sport Court International.

Some 32 playing courts totaling more than 100,000 square feet of Sport Court® Response™ surfacing will see action during the championships.

Connor Sport Court, based in Salt Lake City, provides the official athletic flooring of USA Volleyball, national teams and indoor junior Olympic championship events. Connor Sport Court International provides the official playing surfaces of the association this relationship agreement.

The week-long games are conducted by the United States Volleyball Association (USA Volleyball), the governing body for sport in the U.S. The Intermountain Volleyball Association and the Utah Sports Commission will serve as local hosts for the events.

Barbara Eisenbeis, event coordinator for USA Volleyball, said more than 400 teams from the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam and Canada will take part in the events.
