The deep-fried patties are dressed with hummus and wrapped inside very thin pita bread."

Another favorite is the beef shawarma sandwich with features marinated beef cut from a vertical roasting spit seasoned with fenugreek and other spices, then dressed with tahini sauce. The sandwich is wrapped in thin pita bread that has been crisped on a flat grill.
