Colorado Dude Ranch Offers Summer Discounts of Up to 40 Percent

Latigo Ranch serves up all-inclusive vacation bargains for adults, children.

Kremmling, CO (PRWEB) June 10, 2008 -- Ahhh, summer at last. Relaxation, reading, barbecues, vacation. Rising fuel prices, food costs, and housing worries.

Maybe there are reasons why the average American will take only 11 of his or her already meager 14 vacation days this year, giving back a collective total of more than 360 million vacation days. Yet despite these statistics, Americans do see the value in vacation, with more than one-third (39 percent) reporting they feel more productive and better about their job upon returning from vacation and 52 percent claiming to feel rested, rejuvenated and reconnected to their personal life.

If you haven't planned a trip yet, and are yearning for a real experience, to avoid frightening fuel bills upon your return home - and stay on your budget, look no further. Latigo Ranch - voted "best dude ranch in Colorado" by Colorado's Best - is offering $500 per person off its regular all-inclusive prices during two prime summer times: the weeks of June 22 and July 6. That equates to discounts of up to 40 percent.

The specially priced rate is $1,900/person/week for adults (regularly $2,400), and $1,225/person/week for children age 6-13 (regularly $1,725). Cost for children age 3-5 is just $750/person/week (regularly $1,250) - a savings of 40 percent.

Getting away is more important than ever, says Randy George, owner of Latigo Ranch, but with rising gas prices and a challenging economy, families are having a harder time. "An all-inclusive dude ranch vacation requires no intricate planning, keeps every member of the family happy with a wide variety of activities, and lets people experience a real slice of the American West - all in line with a budget, with no extras or hidden surprises," he explains.

"Road trips may be the quintessential American vacation, but staying in one place that offers a variety of activities in one location means big savings and less stress," says George. "Once you arrive at a dude ranch, it means the only traveling left will be on horseback or in hiking boots."

Latigo Ranch (http://www.latigotrails.com/) is a member of the Grand County Colorado Dude & Guest Ranch Association (http://www.dude-ranch.com/), comprised of six world-class dude ranches nestled in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Located 90 miles west of Denver, Grand County has earned the designation "Dude Ranch Capital of the USA." Activities at Latigo Ranch include swimming, river rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, cattle work, fly fishing, western dancing, archery, riflery, and cowboy skills.
