Blood, Donuts and Moonlight in The Park Fans Targeting Sci-FI and DirecTV To Pick-up the Series

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 9, 2008 -- Operation Save Moonlight.

First fans of Moonlight gave donuts to the striking writers on the picket lines. Then fans raised funds to buy food for the needy. Then fans donated their own blood to the American Red Cross. Then the fans raised awareness and donors for the National Bone Marrow Registry.

Fans of Moonlight celebrated at the Paley Center for Media when Moonlight was honored at that prestigious Center and cheered when it won the People's Choice Award. 8 million fans consistently helped Moonlight win its Friday night time-slot. Moonlight has America Online's Breakout Star and TVGuide's Sexiest Sci-Fi Star of 2008 (Alex O'Loughlin). Fans rallied in Los Angeles. Fans partied at MoonlightCon. Now fans of Moonlight are taking Operation Save Moonlight on the road. As the song says, "If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere."

Against the famed backdrop of New York City's Central Park, fans of Moonlight are gathering to have fun in the sun and enjoy good eats and rocking music, while at the same time demonstrating to Sci-Fi and DirecTV, corporate home of both, why Moonlight fans have earned the buzz as the most passionate, loyal, enthusiastic, and giving fan-base seen in a generation.
