With Kleer, wireless technology has finally caught up with the level of quality our earphones provide, and our first demo of our wireless SA6's at CanJam2008 received incredible reviews. It's great when audiophiles are blown away, that's when you know you've really done something special.
Cupertino, CA (PRWEB) June 11, 2008
Sleek Audio, a developer of innovative, high fidelity earphones, and Kleer™, a fabless semiconductor company focused on wireless audio applications, announce that Sleek Audio will use Kleer technology to develop wireless earbuds that offer CD-quality audio, robust ISM band coexistence and ultra low power consumption. In addition, Kleer's point to multi-point Listen in™ technology will be incorporated, which enables up to four people each with a set of Sleek Audio earbuds to simultaneously listen to the same audio stream. All Kleer-based products are fully interoperable, enabling the Sleek Audio earbuds to receive wireless audio from any Kleer-based portable media player.
"It has always been our goal to develop a wireless application that would work seamlessly with all of our earphones and working with Kleer has allowed us to do so without sacrificing sound quality," said Jason Krywko, VP of Sleek Audio. "With Kleer, wireless technology has finally caught up with the level of quality our earphones provide, and our first demo of our wireless SA6's at CanJam2008 received incredible reviews. It's great when audiophiles are blown away, that's when you know you've really done something special."
"Kleer is very excited to be collaborating with Sleek Audio as it develops its new wireless earphone design," said Ron Glibbery, VP of Marketing for Kleer. "Sleek Audio has proven that there is a large customer base who is demanding high-quality wireless earphones with extended battery life, ideal for people who want to listen to music at work or at the gym."
The release date for the Sleek Audio wireless application is currently set for Q4 2008 at which time pricing and distribution will also be announced.
