Vianix announced today that it has executed an OEM License Agreement with AssistMed, a leading provider of innovative technologies and services in the healthcare market. AssistMed selected Vianix' MASC as its voice standard, to complement its dictation/transcription platform and speech recognition solution, for highly accurate transcription into Electronic Health Records (EHR). The overall healthcare information technology market, of which EHRs and dictation technologies are key components, is valued at $55B.

With a 10-year history of pioneering technologies for cost-effective clinical documentation, AssistMed's success is primarily due to its focus on developing physician-friendly solutions. The adoption of MASC for optimized management of voice-file bandwidth and storage, while maintaining the high quality required for maximum accuracy in speech recognition applications, ais an industry-proven choice, which delivers outstanding value to AssistMed clients.

Bernard Brafman, Vianix' Vice President of Sales and Marketing said, "With AssistMed's selection of MASC technology for their dictation/transcription, Vianix continues to demonstrate the value and ROI of MASC. We have been in discussions with AssistMed for some time - they know their customers and their needs, and recognize the value of our technology for their outstanding solutions now and in the future."

"We are excited about partnering with Vianix, to deploy its powerful voice technology for our clients," stated Raul Kivatinetz, President of AssistMed. "We can now efficiently and securely transmit dictations over the Internet, while providing very high quality voice files to our advanced speech recognition engine - regardless of whether dictation takes place over the phone, on portable digital recorders, into PC-based EHRs, or via our PDA-based dictation application."
