God is calling American Christians, of every age and of every kind, to historic communion gatherings. We are meeting outdoors at state capitols from sea to shining sea. We will come, rain or shine. We will make no speeches. We will make no demands. We will humble ourselves and plead the Blood of the Lamb; for we believe in the mercy of God - to forgive, to heal our hearts, and to seal our land
Newport Beach, Calif. (PRWEB) June 11, 2008
The Rev. Larry Huggins is a man on a mission - a mission for God and Country. Each week throughout 2008, the reverend and his SEAL America organization will travel from coast to coast to join American Christians in prayer and communion. Known as the Campaign for National Communion, the tour will continue to Olympia Wash. on June 14.
Since January, the reverend has delivered the Word of Jesus Christ to groups of worshipers on the steps of 22 state capitols.
"God is calling American Christians, of every age and of every kind, to historic communion gatherings. We are meeting outdoors at state capitols from sea to shining sea. We will come, rain or shine. We will make no speeches. We will make no demands. We will humble ourselves and plead the Blood of the Lamb; for we believe in the mercy of God - to forgive, to heal our hearts, and to seal our land," says Rev. Huggins.
The goals of SEAL America's Campaign for National Communion are: to unite American Christians in historic, public, communion services and seal America in the blood and body of Christ.
"Through communion and prayer we endeavor to prepare ourselves, and our nation for the coming spiritual awakening, and a return to the Christian values that framed our constitution. Our mission is non-denominational and politically neutral. We do not aim to influence legislation directly. Instead, we pray for our country and ask our Heavenly Father to guide our legislators across this great land to honor the Word of God as they represent millions of Christian citizens throughout the United States," Rev. Huggins continues.
The June schedule also includes Juneau Alaska on June 21 and Boise Idaho on June 28. All communion services take place on each Saturday at 11:23 a.m. The Campaign for National Communion will culminate on the steps of our nation's capitol in Washington D.C. on December 20.
