The Huge Spanish Transport Strike Has Not Affected the Hotel Industry

The last 11th of June, José Luis Guerra, the vice president of FEHR (the federation of the Spanish hotel industry) declared that until now the transport strike has not remarkably affected the hotels nor the restaurants in Spain.

This is due to that the hotels and restaurants have been preparing the stock with enough reserves for the beginning summer high season.

Although the strike affects the traffic in bigger cities like Madrid and Barcelona, it does not seem to affect the tourism in Spain, that is continuing to increase according to the Spanish Tourism Ministry .
