CODA Adds to its Success in the Care Home Sector With Two New Customers

• The Orders of St John Care Trust and Kingsley Heathcare Group latest to purchase CODA finance system • Join Four Seasons Health Care and Barchester Healthcare as CODA users • Financials proving strong fit for the Care Home business model • Better control over expenditure and easy integration with Care Home management systems

Harrogate, North Yorkshire (PRWEB) June 16, 2008 -- CODA Group, the finance software specialist, today announced the signing of two Care Homes providers, The Orders of St John Care Trust and Kingsley Healthcare Group, adding to its recent success in this sector and highlighting the suitability of the software for this type of decentralised organisation.

The Orders of St John Care Trust is the second largest not-for-profit care provider in the UK, currently operating 75 care homes across five counties. It required a system that was flexible enough for the central finance teams in each of the county offices, but also one that could be deployed easily for the Care Home Administrators based in the homes.

"We needed a flexible system that would allow us to analyse our services provision by care home, county, resident, type of care etc, but also one that was easy to access and use for the basic finance needs of the home administrators. Their primary responsibility is caring for our residents, but they still require access to the system for certain input and reports, and they need the screens to be user friendly and customisable which was another feature that attracted us to CODA," said Mark Perrin, Trust Financial Controller. "From a single installation, Financials will improve management reporting and will allow us to accommodate changes such as incorporating new homes into the system quickly and easily. It will integrate with our existing business systems including our income processing system, so we'll have a true picture of how the Trust is performing at all times."

Kingsley Healthcare Group currently operates 17 care homes in and around Suffolk, Norfolk, and Bedford and aims to expand to 40 homes nationwide over the next 18 months through both organic growth and acquisition. They are currently caring for over 600 clients.

According to Jason Chong, the Group Finance Director at Kingsley, process automation is key to improving efficiency through the organisation. "CODA's Financials includes an electronic payment system which will integrate with our existing document management and scanning solution for improved control over spending and authorisation of invoices via e-mail. It is browser based so users can access the system remotely. Different people within Kingsley require different output from the system and we are confident we can accommodate these requirements with this software. Its inherent flexibility means we can make changes to the system as we grow so it will support us long into the future."

The Orders of St John and Kingsley are the latest additions to CODA's Care Home providers' client list with others including Four Seasons Health Care and Barchester Healthcare.
