Chiropractic's New Patient Marketing Expert Ben Altadonna Joins Ed McMahon In Supporting Our Troops ... And So Should You

Dr. Ben Altadonna and Ed McMahon Help Our Troops And So Can You While Promoting Your Chiropractic Practice

Danville, CA (PRWEB) June 20, 2008 -- Ed McMahon, decorated war hero and television celebrity, joined Ben Altadonna to introduce "Operation DVD" to close to 500 attendees of Ben's annual Boot Camp.

Operation DVD is an appeal to Americans for donation of new and used DVDs, which will then be shipped to men and women who are serving in the military overseas.

Entertainer Bob Hope began the tradition with Provide Entertainment for our Troops and Operation DVD continues his example of support.

With the main focus being troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, DVDs are also being sent to the deploying troops in Kuwait and to Wounded Warriors receiving treatment in military and veterans hospitals around the world.

"We need to continue the Tradition of Entertaining our Troops," said spokespersons, Jan and Mickey Rooney.

A soldier's downtime remains an important factor for their well-being and safety, and is often difficult under the constant possibility of enemy attack.

Such activities as baseball, softball or basketball are virtually impossible during their tour of duty in war zones because of snipers, mines, bombs and terrorist activity in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Most bases and ships do, however, have reinforced recreation rooms equipped with a television and DVD player. As well as many soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines have portable DVD players.

According to Ben Altadonna, "Operation DVD seeks to give soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan Safe Entertainment for our Troops. Even baseball and softball games are no longer possible in many areas because of snipers, mines, and other terrorist activities."

"We should do whatever we can to help put Chiropractic on the map while helping others ... Ed McMahon and I support 'Operation DVD' and so can you ... it's inexpensive, fun and a worthwhile way to promote your practice ... while helping out our troops!"

"Operation DVD" enables troops to check donated DVDs out in a similar fashion to library books. To get your collection box and material go to: http://www.operationdvd.net/chiropractors.php
