The American Filtration & Separations Society is hosting a Filtration Management Infrastructure & Sustainability Conference, September 23-25, 2008 in Charlotte, NC. Filtration and separations has emerged as a growth industry with annualized growth of 3-8 percent per annum, irrespective of economic conditions with prospects for continued growth for many years into the future. Several underlying factors are driving this growth, including pollution prevention, remediation concerns, a cleaner environment, improved product quality, an expanding global economy and governmental legislation.

The focus of the Conference is to describe the most critical un-met filtration needs for those organizations that have a vested interested in understanding where best to devote funds in the future. Speakers will also provide insight as to where the industry is headed and how to be positioned to meet the many emerging and rapidly expanding opportunities.

The major conference sessions include:

  •     Water Reuse: Preserving Precious Resources
  •     Military & Filtration; Understanding Defense Needs
  •     Reusable and Extended Life Filters: Eliminating Waste
  •     Challenges in Transportation
  •     Critical Air Filtration Issues and Needs
  •     Water; Life's Liquid
  •     Power Generation; Many Challenges and Opportunities
  •     Securing National Health and the Environment

To assist investment banking and M&A firms to understand filtration technology, the Conference is offering a one-day, pre-conference short courses series, including the basics of liquid and air filtration and membrane technology. The Conference will conclude with a half-day Workshop with open discussion to tie together Infrastructure and Sustainability and reinforce the many challenge and opportunities presented at the Conference.

We invite investment banking and M&A firms to join many of the leading filtration and separation companies and their suppliers who will have their senior executive in attendance, including CEO's, presidents, COO's and other key personnel, along with senior business development and R&D directors at this Conference.
