The MotioCI 1.3 release is the most comprehensive upgrade Motio, Inc. has delivered since the initial product release in 2006, including new functionality to further enhance the Cognos BI developers' ability to monitor and improve the operational performance of their IBM Cognos BI environments. New features include:
Stress and Load Testing -- benchmark operational performance and perform controlled tests with quantitative results. This feature can be used to identify bottlenecks, evaluate the performance impact of configuration or infrastructure changes, and to ascertain the load limits of your BI infrastructure.
MotioCI Framework Model and Reports -- exposes valuable data collected by MotioCI including the performance and version history of BI artifacts over time as well as a catalog of notable events in the BI ecosystem.
Auto-Generate Test Cases -- MotioCI has always provided a suite of generic test cases based on IBM Cognos' standard implementations. Now, with the release of 1.3, users are able to auto-generate test cases based on the actual reports they are running within their BI environment, saving time and ensuring outputs are validated on a continuous basis.
