U.S. Advertising Agency CKR Interactive Goes Global with New Joint Venture

U.S. recruitment advertising agency CKR Interactive has joined forces with two UK and Australia based agencies to establish a new corporation designed to deliver employer branding and employee communications services on the international stage.

CKR Interactive (http://www.ckrinteractive.com) announces a joint venture with ThirtyThree in the United Kingdom and Re.Agent in Australia to establish a new corporation, OneAgent (http://www.oneagentglobal.com), which will deliver employer branding and employee communications services internationally.

Established in direct response to the growing international needs of today's employers, the new organization will combine centralized global account management with local delivery expertise, ensuring that clients benefit from outstanding service and profit from economies of scale through global media channels--regardless of where in the world they aim to recruit.

"We're excited because this venture allows CKR Interactive to continue to do what it does best--deliver a high level of customer service--on a global scale," notes Curtis Rogers, CKR Interactive president and One Agent co-founder. "Clients who've come to us from the larger agencies with offices abroad love that they can tap into global resources and strategic thinking without losing the personal touch we're known for."

"Global companies are increasingly looking to present a cohesive and consistent message in their recruitment and employee communications, particularly in areas such as graduate recruitment where there is intense competition for best talent," adds Andrew Young, chairman of OneAgent and ThirtyThree. "At the moment there are few if any genuinely global options in terms of suppliers. The large advertising agencies will point to their international office networks, but we know from experience that service quality is inconsistent, and there's often more conflict than collaboration."

OneAgent already manages the global needs of Covance, the SR Group and BG Group. Young is enthusiastic about what the partnership has to offer to other companies:

"OneAgent will offer the flexibility, creativity and responsiveness of a privately-owned business but with the research and strategic thinking you'd expect from a big player. The ability to tailor global employer branding initiatives to the needs of the local audience is central to our approach. So much can get lost in translation and the slightest cultural error can do a lot of damage. That's why we will also be working with strong agency partners in places like India and China where recruitment practices are very different."
