Shortly after Grandstream made the product announcement for the GXE502x in late 2007, the company created the IPPBX Beta Program for telecom professionals to test the product and provide feedback. Grandstream has been hardening the firmware since, to ensure top performance of the product in various worldwide deployments. Throughout the successful beta program, Grandstream has received a lot of positive and encouraging feedback from hundreds of beta testers and SIP trunk service providers worldwide. The GXE502x is now interoperable with a number of leading SIP Trunking service providers such as Broadvox, Voxitas,, RNK, Excel, Convergia, Metrotel, BabyTel, and many others.

The equipment, thanks to its dimension and silence, can be located directly in the office which is essential for SMB market."

Claudio Miklos of IPFONE TELEFONIA IP, the first VoIP only store in Brazil adds, "The GXE502x does not have competitors in the market in terms of features, capacity and price. We installed the test unit (GXE5024) at a client with 34 extensions (BT200 and GXP2000) , 2 land lines and 2 faxes, the client is using it with a Brazilian ITSP trunk to make both national and international calls. Our client is very satisfied for the flexibility that the system allows. The system is easy to configure, use …… basically eliminates maintenance. We changed the IVR many times and the process is very fast and with minimal impact in the day to day work."
