FindYourHomeValue.ca, a new website offering home owners a free evaluation of their property, has been opened by Toronto real estate broker, Hamed Mahmood Salehi.
"People who need to know how much their property is worth do not have to pay a lot of money for this service, because we can do it for free," said Mr. Salehi.
His website http://www.findyourhomevalue.ca has an online form where users can enter the details about their home, including home type, street address, number of bedrooms, square footage, property age, etc.
"The items on the form provide us with all the information that we need to make a proper evaluation of any property, " said Mr. Salehi. "This evaluation provides a user with information about selling prices in his or her neighbourhood and information about Toronto area home values in general," he added.
The geographic range of Mr. Salehi's service encompasses the Greater Toronto Area including North York, East York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Pickering, Vaughan, Woodbridge, Thornhill, Richmond Hill and Markham.
"Users of this service are under no obligation to buy anything from us, but if someone is thinking of selling a home in the Toronto area we are ready to assist them in determining the best pricing strategy for the Toronto market," Mr. Salehi added.
In addition to the home evaluation service, the new website also has a blog and article section http://www.findyourhomevalue.ca/blog with tips for home owners and people interested in either buying or selling home.
"Many homeowners, for example, would like to know what they have to do in order to get the best possible price for their property, and the articles in this section give practical advice on what kinds of repairs and maintenance is necessary for this," explained Mr. Salehi. The articles in the blog section cover other topics as well such as an explanation on how properties are evaluated.
"Our aim is to provide a homeowner or potential homeowner with the information that they need to get the best possible value when they buy or sell a home in the Greater Toronto Area," he concluded.
