Thin in high school, the 29-year old Sedlacek said her weight ballooned thereafter. "Working in an office, being sedentary, made it even more difficult," she reflected. As a result, Sedlacek tried all the "fad diets and diet products," but found that TRIMSPA was "life altering - a way of life."
That new life began for Sedlacek on January 21, 2006, when she took the TRIMSPA Challenge's required "before" pictures that resulted in tears. Believing that she was about 30 pounds overweight, she recalled viewing the pictures, "…the shock of the truth was breathtaking…the amount of tears I cried that day alone in the bathroom is what has kept me going and committed." Now, 59 pounds lighter, she jokes that her belly-button has moved up 3 inches, "but" she admits, "…it didn't relocate without a fight!"
For Sedlacek, the agony associated with being overweight is understood; however, when she looks at herself today, she feels "a happiness so deep and so sincere" that expressing it adequately is difficult. That happiness led Sedlacek to embark on a truly confident and life-changing journey. In addition to owning her business, Sedlacek is engaged to be married. Of her fiancé, Sedlacek says, "(He) has been so supportive in every aspect of life" and has encouraged her to inspire others through the apparel offering.
