New online scale superstore http://www.HolladayPartners.com is celebrating its grand opening, offering a catalog of scales for a variety of applications.
"I feel like selling on the Internet is the way of the future, and I wanted to get involved," says owner and operator Betty Douglas, explaining her reason for opening the store. "I've had a weight problem on and off for a long time, and I've used a lot of scales. I had some preferences for scales, and when I found this line of products I decided I'd try them for my web site and see how it went."
The site itself carries a number of weighting and measuring implements, from standard bathroom scales and body fat analyzers to scales for specific purposes, such as kitchen scales for food, postage and shipping scales, and pocket scales. Counting scales, dial scales, and multifunction scales are also represented, giving customers a variety of items to choose from in order to meet their needs.
"I'm interested in health issues, and I think weight is a problem for a lot of people," says Betty, who hopes her site assists others in their measuring needs. "In addition to weight loss scales, I have a line of scales for the kitchen, for technical uses, and a lot of different side lines."
Betty has also opened a blog at http://www.Scales4UBlog.com, providing her customers with additional product information as well as discussing a variety of topics. "I have posted several times already, and I've got more posts ready," says Betty, who is a retired educator and wants to share information with her customers. "I'm talking to my audience about issues that concern weight, health, nutrition, and that sort of thing. I worked in the school business doing about everything you can do -- teacher to principal to coach to superintendent, and even college. I'm a family-oriented person who loves to share knowledge and help others."
Betty is hopeful that her customers will want to take part in her blog, and is currently looking to expand her product catalog to grant a greater selection to shoppers.
