Author Laurence Lilley grew up in church, He started preaching at nineteen, but over time, his church experience became less and less satisfying and he searched everywhere for substance and reality. His frustration was such that around age 30, he set out to discover what Creator God had in mind when he decided to make a man. That search has persisted and new discoveries continue to be made.

At forty, he became a Pentecostal pastor. At forty-six, he retired from church activity, and the next seven years were spent interceding for Australia. The intercession lifted when he was given a vision of Australia worshipping God Almighty. He intends to live to see that happening. However, serious intercession for his nation has continued..

Lilley writes that God's dream is to have sons and daughters who are duplicates of Himself-- made in His image.
