The firm began in 1983 in a one room office with a desk, a copy machine and a typewriter. Glenn Gelman, formerly with Coopers & Lybrand in New York City, moved to California in 1981 determined to provide large firm quality to small businesses.
The firm grew quickly from one employee to 20 within five years and was ranked one of the fastest growing companies in America by Inc. Magazine. Today, along with partners, Warren Hennagin and Larry Kane, Gelman & Associates employs nearly 40 people in its own facility in Santa Ana.
The firm specializes in the needs of contractors and developers and privately-held businesses of all kinds.
