New book will imbue readers with a hunger for the Word of God

In his book, The Christian's Warfare: It's a Family Affair, newly published by Xulon Press, author Francis L. Davis says successful and victorious Christian living cannot be attained by members of the family of God without there being a strict observance of the mandates of God by each individual member of His family. Readers will come to see that victory over the obstacles we face in life is not just about His power or His presence, but their own positioning. In order to do this, they must be positioned in certain key areas in order that they might gain the victory. These areas include: living successfully as singles in a sex-crazed society, obeying and honoring one's parents, and much more.

Says Davis, "(I hope readers gain) a better grasp of the importance that God places upon marriage and the family and the roles and responsibilities of each party as well as the connection it has to God's release of His presence, provision, protection, and power. Secondly, (I hope they gain) a love, a better appreciation, and a hunger for the Word of God."

A minister for more than 20 years, Davis has been given the spiritual gift of teaching. This gift has been given at a time when the family unit is under attack by the enemy, and Davis says God charged him to use it to help grow His people. In The Christian's Warfare, he does just that, positioning believers both physically and functionally for an increase in their lives.

Francis L. Davis is the pastor/founder of West End Bibleway Christian Fellowship.
